An intranet for this conglomerate of food service
companies owned by a family. We did all the work on
this site. The database work includes:
- Daily upload of
sales from different concepts such as Sonic and
TGI Friday's. Auto e-mail of reports to
management of flash sales.
- Performa. This
allows owners to create Performa's to see
whether new locations are viable or to send to
bank. Flexible across many concepts.
- Dynamic Profit
and Loss Statements that work across concepts.
Flexible in that fields and reports are very
flexible. Reports compare vs budget and last
year.
- Vehicle and
Asset Tracking. Keeps info on computer equipment
and vehicles. Tracks purchase dates,
maintenance, accidents and drivers. Warns when
Insurance, DMV registration or warranty
expiring. Can upload documents and tag to the
vehicle like Title, Insurance etc.
- Gas station
margin calculator for setting gas prices.
- Management
schedule.
- Budget wizard.
Walks managers thru step by step creating a
budget for the year. Data is then consolidated
into master budgets.
- Personnel forms
upload, viewing and download.

This website is a portal for management to view
various management tools.
- Profit and Loss
statements which are uploaded from QuickBooks
into the database. The reports can be viewed
many different ways and can be compared vs
budget, Last year or YTD.
- An on-demand
check module that prints out checks for
in-between payroll periods. Checks print on
blank check stock and include the MICR coding
and correct tax calculations.
- Asset Tracking.
Keep track of computer, phone and vehicle
assets.
- Different
permission levels depending on level of
management.

We did backend of this website and the public
project pages. There is a large non-public admin
area which is used like an intranet for staff.
The database work
includes:
- Calendaring for
staff for time off and for scheduling.
- A bid and
planning module that allows for the bids to be
tracked to subcontractors, send off bid requests
by fax or e-mail then allows subcontractors to
log in and view download plans.
- Timecards for
staff in the field. It shows hours by project
and job and prints out a signable bi-weekly
timesheet in English and Spanish that can be
signed. The staff / superintendants fill out
timecards daily in the field from their laptops.
- Entering
construction projects (current and completed).
Allows for uploading of photographs. There are
many descriptor fields for the project.

We setup the online teen drivers education course
which lets students take their test online after
going thru curriculum and tests. We also created an
affiliate module which allows the owner to sell this
service to other driving schools using his website
as gateway. Here are details of database work:
- The curriculum
is 15 chapters with many pages each chapter. At
the end of each chapter is a test. The student
must pass the test before going onto next
chapter. The student can leave and come back to
course at anytime and continue on wherever they
left off. At the end there is the official test
that the student must pass to get their "Pink
Slip".
- The curriculum
and questions for tests can be dynamically
changed at any time in an admin area.
- We setup a page
of DMV videos that can be played to also teach
students about driving habits.
- The affiliate
module allows other driving schools to have
their own gateway to this website. They can
track their own students.

This website is used for
customers of a Qdoba Mexican Grill to find out about
the company and order food online.
- The menu is
dynamic. New products can be added, prices can
be changed, photos uploaded and change is
immediate on website.
- The stores and
locations are dynamic also. These can be added
in the admin pane including an optional
photograph of the location.
- Testimonials and
events can be added through the admin panel.
- Orders made
online actually print out in the kitchen at the
store within a minute of being sent.

We created the complete website for this Asian Fast
Food concept. This was designed so that customers
can order online or over the phone fro delivery to
their home or office. The orders go to a central
office where they are forwarded to the appropriate
restaurant complete with a map link which shows
driver route from restaurant to customer. More info
on the database work:
- The menu is
dynamic. New products can be added, prices can
be changed, photos uploaded and change is
immediate on website.
- The stores and
locations are dynamic also. These can be added
in the admin pane including an optional
photograph of the location.
- Dynamic coupon
creator. Coupons can be created with different
expiration dates, start and stop dates, offers
and disclaimers There is a random 6 digit number
assigned to each coupon. This is used for the
logic in the ordering process.
- Ordering can be
online by customer or by an agent at a toll free
number who enters the order online. Takes into
account multiple coupons.
